Modern sales & branding major subjects in Executive MBA Reunion program
Modern Sales was one of the masterclass subjects of the 15 year reunion program of RSM’s Executive MBA class of 2001. Organizing committee Karel Boere & Ralph van Houdt, supported by the hospitality of the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), delivered a balanced and compact two day program for 30 Alumni. The ‘importance of Brands’ by RSM’s international professor Puntoni and discovering the ‘importance of Disruptive innovation’ by assistant professor Murat Tarakci were the subjects of the first day. The day concluded with a nice dinner at Villa Zalmhuis. Arno Nienhuis, Oracles Sr. Director Alliances & Channels BeNeLux, kicked off on the Satuday. The impact of trends like The Cloud, Big Data, Social Selling and the changing roles of Sales professionals were elements of his vision on Modern Sales. Professor Lucas Meijs, specialized in the area of Non profit organizations and their relation with company strategy, elaborated on the importance of this subject in the last masterclass.
The successful combination of an interesting program, the professional surrounding of RSM, 4 relevant masterclasses and the contribtion of the participating alumni made it a valuable event. It even ignited the initative for the next reunion, including a yearly event.
